Hi,

Here is a first preview of the project on which I am working: as you can see it's about a number of changes I made from my previous theme, Dark Soft, to create a clearer version of this theme. I decided to make this adaptation following numerous requests.

As this screenshot shows it, the main changes concern the interface of explorer, more precisely the color of the navigation pane and the background for the display of files and folder: to make the explorer clearer, I had to change these colors by inspiring me of the skin of Silent Night by DaHLiA-7. In this future theme, the navigation pane will appear slightly blue, while the background will recover its whiteness by default.

Initially I thought that the number of changes would be restricted, that is to say that with the exception of these two changes, the adaptation of the theme would be very fast. But I quickly became disenchanted: I quickly realized that I could not stop at that, since these two changes would automatically affect the display of other parts of explorer I have been forced to modify them too.

For the moment, I can cite for example the changes I made on the folderband, for the adress and search bar and for the window frame:

About the folderband at first, in the dark soft theme, this part appears black, like Silent Night. But I had to change its color because the passage from blue and white to black of this folderband seemed to me too aggressive for the eyes it may be a subjective opinion. I decided to do it by changing its color to gray with a gradient overlay to attenuate this passage and make it softer.

I also brought some modifications for the adress and search bar, by modifying slightly the clarity of the background, by adding also a gradient effect and a outer contour to give the impression that these parties are inlaid in the frame.

Finally i also modified the window frame, on the borders but also the top part: I am sure you noticed that my explorer doesn't possess borders. By using a clever change by Aaron-A-Arts, i decided to delete them, because
they seemed to me useless and because the passage from black to blue seemed ugly. I had to changed the upper part of the framework, by applying a new gradient (softer) and by changing the external contour.

As you can see, I had to resign myself to delete the image in the form of arrow i used as background for the titlebar (with Aero.bar.exe), because of the removal of window borders which results in a number of bugs that I didn't managed to fix.

I will try to publish 2 others screenshots the next week to show you the progress of my project. I intend to change other parts in the explorer of course but also elsewhere such as the start menu. So I'm open to all the suggestions
